Whilst you or your alliance is attacking there are some important checks that you need to carry out. These checks are to look for an enemy alliance joining an alliance to help defend a union or to check farms whilst you farm them.
I carry out the checks constantly whilst farming and usually use a second device for this.
For farming farms
Check number 1
The first check is to scan the target alliances member list and see if they have any accounts already within the alliance that could hurt you if they were to defend.
Answer is yes
You must be careful when you proceed to attack that they do not start to reinforce whilst you are conducting the next check. I keep my target active on the screen of my second device to watch this.
Answer is no
Farm away but do not neglect check number 2.
Check number 2 works as follows.
Select the “player info” of the person you are attacking.
Spamming this will make this screen appear, please check the next step for more information but this is the part you will be hitting on the screen.
The 2 figures you need to watch are the amount of people within the alliance and the alliance power.
Firstly the amount of members.
When the member number increases someone has joined the alliance and most likely to defend. Recall your troops if you are solo or make sure it’s not lots of people if you are in a port party.
I say to check the power as well because I have come across some crafty people that will remove an account at the same time as joining another account as they know about step 1. If you miss the power change then as you are only looking at player number then they will catch you.
